Goods are delivered to site alongside the vehicle and cannot be moved beyond this point. No liability whatsoever is accepted or assumed for damage to any property whether by negligence or otherwise
If goods are unable to be delivered for whatever reason, a re-delivery charge will be applicable. The re-delivery charge will be a minimum of R 450 excl. VAT or the applicable AA rate per kilometer to the site
Claims for breakages, shortages or defects must be lodged within 24 hours of receipt of goods
Only first grade tiles carry a Manufacturer’s Guarantee. All other grades are sold in terms of the Consumer’s Protection Act
Before fixing tiles check for tonality and sizing on all grades/ shades and calibration
No claim whatsoever will be considered after tiles have been fixed
We are not responsible for any measurements supplied by you or calculated by us. We endeavor to do our best at all times, but ultimately the responsibility lies with you, your quantity surveyor or your builder
All quantities should include a 10% excess and in the case of bathroom walls or diagonal patterns a 15% excess
Allow a 5% excess for breakage on natural stone products
In the case of natural stone products shades are natural and we do not assume responsibility for any particular batch
We are entitled to a 15% cancellation fee on cancelled orders. In the event of “Special Import”, manufactured items and/or special orders, we will negotiate the cancellation fee
All prices are subject to major currency fluctuations in Foreign exchange rates
In order to qualify for settlement discount, your payment must reflect on our bank account on the last day of the month, in which it is due
The goods remain the property of Funky Tiles until paid in full
& O.E.
Delivery Policy
Funky Tiles delivers throughout South Africa via courier. Delivery is charged according to The Courier Guy rates, which are calculated based on the weight and size of your order, and dispatched from Epping in Cape Town.
During the purchase process, Funky Tiles will determine your delivery options and the applicable courier cost based on your delivery address, postal code, parcel size, and weight. Delivery may be door-to-door or door-to-counter, depending on your location and the courier service available in your area.
For South African orders, once payment has been confirmed, Funky Tiles will arrange dispatch and delivery will typically take 3–7 working days, depending on your location within South Africa.
Late Delivery
The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECT Act") entitles you to cancel your purchase with 7 days’ notice if the products you have purchased are not be delivered within the agreed delivery period as specified in the Funky Tiles terms and conditions. The product(s) in question must be returned to Funky Tiles in their original state, including all labels. Any such cancellation must be done by e-mail: orders@funkytiles.co.za Funky Tiles will then refund you within 30 days after date of such notification.
Stock shortages
Should a product you have ordered be:
Temporarily unavailable, Funky Tiles will notify you thereof as well as the anticipated delay in delivery and, unless you agree to wait for such longer period for delivery, or accept delivery of another product instead.
Permanently unavailable: Funky Tiles will notify you and, unless you agree to accept another product instead, Funky Tiles will issue a refund in respect of that product to you.
